Messi gives a shocking reaponse regarding himself and ronaldo

Lionel Messi has brushed aside his fierce rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo by suggesting that he would pass to him if they played on the same side.

The 33-year-old Barcelona captain has had a heated rivalry with Juventus superstar Ronaldo on the field.

When Messi was asked if he would pass to the 35-year-old Portuguese superstar, he admitted that he would eventually do so.

"I guess so, in the end, yes," he told Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.

Ronaldo's Juventus future has been cast in doubt recently and he has been linked with a move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star won Serie A with the Italian side last season, but he watched as Juventus crashed out of the Champions League last week.

Ronaldo, whose Juventus contract expires in 2022, has even been linked with Barcelona in a shocking report.

Messi has previously praised Ronaldo on his performances for Juventus and called him a "predatory striker."

The six-time Ballon d'Or winner said: "It's normal that he continues to score, he is a predatory striker, he loves to score, any day he plays he will score.

"He has many good attributes as a forward and at the minimum he converts."

Despite his competitive rivalry with Messi, Ronaldo has brushed aside the idea that the two superstars share any bad blood.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner praised their competitive rivalry and admitted that he would love to have dinner with Messi someday.

Ronaldo said ahead of the Champions League draw last August: "We have shared the stage 15 years. I don't know if that's happened before -- the same two guys on the same stage all the time.

"Of course, we have a good relationship. We haven't had dinner together yet, but I hope in the future.

"We had that battle in Spain. I pushed him and he pushed me as well. So it's good to be part of the history of football."

Covid 19,Black Lives Matter Protest, George Floyd's Death Might Be A Huge Hurdle On The Way As Some NBA Players Won't Be Returning This Season. Matt Barnes Believes

Last week it was announced that the NBA set a tentative date of July 31 for the league to resume playing after being suspended in March because of COVID-19.

While some players may not want to return because of the potentially deadly virus, others may not play for reasons that have to do with George Floyd and the ongoing protests, if Matt Barnes’ comments in a recent interview are to be believed.

Barnes, a retired NBA player, was a guest on Yahoo! Sports’ “Dunk Bait” on Monday and said while some players in the league may want to dedicate this season to Floyd, others want to sit out because they feel the league returning would take away attention from the protests.

That position is something Barnes claims certain players have already told him, and he says other players have expressed the idea to Snoop Dogg.

Floyd was a 46-year-old Black man who passed away after a Minneapolis Police Department cop jammed his knee into his neck for nearly nine minutes during an arrest on Memorial Day, an encounter that was caught on video and ignited protests across the United States and overseas.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if some teams or some key players did want to play on behalf and in honor of George Floyd,” Barnes explained at the 2:22 mark of the interview. “Snoop hit me the other day talking about it, ‘cause I have talked to a few guys — not to mention no names — and he said he had talked to a couple of guys from the Lakers and the Clippers. There’s some whispers about some teams not being comfortable, some guys want to play, some guys don’t want to play.”

The league’s plan to resume play actually would see many players not playing, as only 22 of the 30 NBA teams are included in the group that would restart play at the end of July. If the entire season is canceled players would take a huge salary cut because of the lost TV revenue involved in complete cancellation of the games that were left in the regular season and all of the playoffs games. NBA players are keenly aware of the implications of writing off this season, so Barnes’ contentions that players don’t want to resume might seem highly unlikely to many observers

Barnes’ interview comes shortly after he joined a Black Lives Matter rally in Sacramento, California, on Saturday with current and former members of the Sacramento Kings, a team he played for in the 2004-2005 season, then again in the 2016-2017 season.

The retired small forward implored the crowd at the rally to vote, but not just in the presidential elections, also in local eleobservers.

“Now we got to beat them with our minds,” Barnes told the crowd. “This is a mental fight. So when we say go out and vote, it’s not just to get that president out of The White House. … We definitely have to get him out. … It’s the local level and the state level where laws are made and passed.”

Ballon d'Or 2019 winner

Leo Messi claims another Ballon d’Or. The Argentine star was presented with the award 2019 this Monday by the French magazine France Football for a record breaking sixth time, another indication that the Barça striker continues to demonstrate that he is the best player of all time. Messi won his first Ballon d’Or 10 years ago in 2009 and since then he has gone on to take the award in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2015.

Ronaldo aiming to beat Messi’s Ballon d’Or haul as he targets eight awards

Regarded as one of the best players in history, the Portugal captain would love to end his career with more personal accolades than the Argentine
Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo believes that he deserves to end his career with more Ballon d'Or trophies than Lionel Messi, but added that he might need as many as eight of the awards to stay ahead of the Barcelona star.
The Ballon d'Or is awarded each year to the player deemed to be the best in the world by journalists as well as coaches and captains of national teams. As things stand, Messi and Ronaldo are tied on five each.
Luka Modric brought a 10-year duopoly to an end to lift the 2018 award, the first player since Kaka in 2007 to beat the iconic duo to the top spot after a fine season in which Real Madrid won the Champions League and his national side Croatia reached the World Cup final.
Following Liverpool's European success last campaign, Virgil van Dijk is expected to challenge Messi and Ronaldo this term, but the Portuguese, even at the age of 34, still has a hunger to prove himself as the best in the world.
"Messi is a fantastic guy and a fantastic player," Ronaldo said on ITV during an interview with Piers Morgan. "He's in the history of football, but I think I have to have six or seven or eight to be above him. I'd love it. I think I deserve it."
Adding on his ongoing rivalry with the mercurial Argentine, Ronaldo said: "My relationship with him is... we're not friends, but we have shared this stage for 15 years. I have a good relationship with him and I know that he has pushed me to be a better player.
"And I have pushed him to be a better player as well."
The debate over who is the best to have ever played the game will rage on for decades to come, with many still citing Pele and Diego Maradona as their first picks, but Ronaldo, who has lifted five Champions League titles in his career, just wants to be considered amongst the greats.
"I'm sure I'm in the history of football for what I have done and what I'm continuing to do, but as one of the best players in history," the Portugal captain said.
"For me, I'm the number one in history. But for some fans, if the number one is another one and I'm second, that doesn't matter. I know I'm in history as one of the greatest ever."

According to a document obtained by Iscoholic on Twitter, Messi is set to be named as the winner of the award. The Barcelona star got 252 points (votes) as per the document – 28 more than 2nd-placed Van Dijk.
Ronaldo has come in 3rd with 181 points. Alisson Becker finished 4th with 57 points while his teammates Sadio Mane and Mo Salah came 5th and 6th with 51 and 49 points respectively.
Real Madrid’s new signing, Eden Hazard finished 7th with 38 points while former Ajax stars, Matthijs de Ligt and Frenkie de Jong finished joint 8th with 27 points.
Raheem Sterling, who won the Premier League Young player of the year award, has come 10th with a mere 12 points.

Ronaldo is the best (India’s Kohli)

The world's best hitter Virat Cole said on Friday that Cristiano Ronaldo remains the best player in the world.
Carly, who leads the world rankings for Wad, said the Portuguese keeper was still a superstar at the age of 34.

"For me, Cristiano is above all, his dedication and work ethic is second to none, he really wants it - you can see it in every game," Coley told FIFA's website.
"In my opinion, he has faced more challenges and has succeeded in all of them, he is the most complete player I have ever met, and his work ethic, as I mentioned before, is second to none.

"It inspires people, I don't think many people do that, He is also a leader and I like that, I really love him, He also has amazing faith."

Ronaldo and Collie have built a large international fan base. Ronaldo has more than 177 million followers on Instagram, while Indian cricket players have more than 30 million followers on Twitter.

Carly is also a huge football fan and co-owner of the Indian Super League soccer team FC Goa.

Cricket superstar hopes his country will soon reach the finals of the FIFA World Cup even though FIFA's current ranking is 103.

"Our captain Sunil Chetri, who leads the team with extraordinary mastery and inspiration, will soon see us qualify for the World Cup," said Coley.

Ronaldo explains the origins of the legendary celebration 'Siiii', who has become his calling card at Real Madrid and Juventus

Ig@circletalkslive

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has regularly scored goals over the years and found his own way to celebrate this success
Cristiano Ronaldo has shown that Torfest, which he is already identical, is just a "natural" reaction to Real Madrid's goals.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner, currently in the Giants Serie A books of Juventus, has gained a lot of experience in goal setting over the years.

His exceptional hit rate means he is never far from enjoying adoration from a worshiping fan base.
However, in the summer of 2013, he gave the first known "Siiii".
Ronaldo told Soccer.com about the origins of his actions, where he turned in the air before landing with his arms outstretched. .

"I got it and just came out, it's only natural to be honest.

"Then I realized that I liked it and I started doing it more often, I saw the fans liked it and would remember it, so I kept doing it."

Ronaldo played 51 times in the Real Madrid network in the 2013/14 season, before rising to 61 the following season and never falling below the 40 goal mark before leaving Madrid in the summer of 2018.

For Italian champions Juventus he remains in the last third of the source of regular inspiration, while he has increased in 158 of his international business missions to Portugal to 88.

Resistance is just as intense for all times and perhaps the best ever, has been strongly anchored by contemporary icons.

However, Ronaldo is ready to admit that he still considers a past hero.

Many of those who currently depend on trade will love to play on his side. But who is the 34-year-old superstar worshiped by?
Ronaldo said when he asked, "I have a lot of players I want to play.

"But I will choose one from my side who died a few years ago: Eusebio

"He is one of the symbols of Portugal, he is a great man, he died a few years ago, but I hope I can play with him in the national team."

GASLY CRASHES AS LECLERC SHOWS FASTEST IN SECOND PRACTICE

Charles Leclerc - Formula 1 - 2019 German GP
ig@circletalkslive
Scuderia Ferrari carried its promising German Grand Prix Free Practice 1 form into the day’s second session, but the positions were reversed with Charles Leclerc leading Sebastian Vettel.
Vettel was fastest in the morning at Hockenheim, but Leclerc responded on a very hot afternoon by edging ahead of his team-mate by 0.124 seconds with a lap time of 1:13.449.
Mercedes AMG Motorsport‘s Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas trailed the Ferraris, although Hamilton was much closer to Leclerc’s time and over 0.5s ahead of Bottas.
Pierre Gasly suffered a crash in the final third of the session at the final corner and heavily damaged the left-hand side of his car, giving Red Bull Racing a headache this evening.
Hard tyre running was the order of the day at the beginning of the session, with the ambient temperature hovering around the 40C mark and track temperatures hitting 50C.
Ferrari was the first of the frontrunning teams to set a fast lap, Leclerc over two-tenths faster than Vettel – who was one of the few using the medium compound.
But Leclerc was noting some difficulty with his brake pedal and suffered a nasty snap of oversteer after negotiating traffic at the exit of the Sachskurve.
Hamilton showed Mercedes’ hand in the more technical sectors of the German track, setting purple times in the first and last sections but ceding time to the Ferraris in the engine-dependent middle part of the lap.
Nevertheless, the Brit managed to better Leclerc’s time by over a tenth-of-a-second as Bottas could only get within 0.338s in third.
Hamilton then improved further to bring the times into the low 1minute 14s mark, but 10 minutes later Leclerc shattered that benchmark with 1:13.573.
The final 15 minutes of the first hour saw marginal gains across the front of the field, with the odd midfield runner – like Romain Grosjean and Lance Stroll – troubling the top three on soft tyres, before long-distance running slowed the pace considerably.
Lance Stroll - Formula 1 - 2019 German GP
Gasly’s crash and the resulting red flag period hampered the teams’ respective Friday programmes but, with weather conditions set to change tomorrow, the delay might not make such a tangible difference.
The Frenchman’s Red Bull team-mate, Max Verstappen, ended the session in fifth – just 0.022s behind from Bottas.
Grosjean claimed a promising sixth for the Haas F1 Team, but reported a loss of power on his way back to the pits after the session timer expired.
Stroll was the final driver inside a second of Leclerc’s time in seventh, continuing the pace shown in the morning by the Racing Point F1 Team.
Kimi Räikkönen struggled with the balance of his Alfa Romeo Racing car in places, but still managed eighth place ahead of Hülkenberg and Sergio Pérez.
Hülkenberg also reported power issues to the Renault F1 Team, complaining of a complete lack of battery power, before stopping on track with a further gearbox problem.
