Paul Pogba puzzled by ‘bizarre’ Tottenham loss

Harry KaneManchester United took on Tottenham on Monday evening as they looked to bounce back from their 3-2 loss to Brighton.
United started the game very well.
They dominated the ball and had a few decent chances in the first half but they were unable to break Spurs down.
The second half, however, did not go well for United.
Harry Kane opened the scoring for Tottenham in the 50th minute thanks to a Kieran Trippier assist.
Lucas Moura then doubled Spurs lead just two minutes later.
The Brazilian grabbed his second goal of the game in the 84th minute, giving Spurs a 3-0 win.
After the well started game for united, they ended up with a 3:0 loss to tottenham. Paul Pogba speaking after the game, was in a shock on how hey lost to tottenham despite having a wonderful start up against the spurs.
“It’s bizarre, we were determined, we started well, and in the end we lost 3-0. It’s a shock.
“Even we don’t understand what happened. We started the game really well. The first goal was a real blow.
“We didn’t understand why, because we had the game in hand. One goal, two — we kept pushing, we had chances, and we conceded the third.
“The fans kept pushing us, they were really behind us.
“We feel really sorry for them — very disappointed. We wanted to do better. I think it was an undeserved defeat for us.
“In our desire, in everything we put into it. But football can be cruel. We just have to bounce back.
“It won’t be easy, but it’s just the start of the season. I prefer to start badly and end well than start well and finish badly.
“We have to keep going, we mustn’t worry. We must work. We are still Manchester United and we won’t give up on anything.”
Like it is well stated above, Pogba gave a wonderful speech there, more especially adding that 'he prefers to start badly and end well than to start well and end badly'. Its a desire though, sometimes what we want aren't what we get, but for football its a different case altogether, so at the mo9ment we cant really say anything about it than to use our eyes and gaze patiently at the drama to come.
