Neymar to Real Madrid: Agreement in principle reached for stunning La Liga return.

Neymar and Real Madrid reportedly have an agreement in principle to complete his stunning return to La Liga next summer, according to reports in France.

Neymar only joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in the summer of 2016 but did not escape reports linking him with an immediate return to Spain.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez made the Brazilian his priority target in the recent transfer window but PSG were reluctant to part with their star man.
However, according to French publication Le10 Sport, there has been progress taking place behind the scenes regarding Neymar’s future.
The report claims his father has been in talks with Los Blancos about a transfer and both parties have agreed a deal in principle for his transfer in the summer of 2019.
However, Neymar is yet to agree a financial contract with the European champions and PSG also need to agree a fee with Real - should they decide to sell him.
The forward became the world’s most expensive player when he left Barcelona for £198m and PSG will demand a similar fee if they opt to cash in.
Neymar is currently under contract with PSG until 2022 and Madrid were forced to deny reports they were attempting to sign him in recent months.
“In the face of the constant reports linking PSG’s Neymar Jr. to our club, Real Madrid C. F. wish to clarify that the club has no intention of making any offer for the player,” a Real Madrid statement read.

“The two clubs enjoy an excellent relationship and, as such, if Real Madrid were at any stage to consider securing the services of a PSG player, they would approach the club in the first instance.”
Meanwhile, former Barcelona star Rivaldo reckons Neymar will eventually end up at the Bernabeu.
“For now, I must believe in his word that he will stay at PSG, but from what I know and the comments I hear, I tend to think that, sooner or later, he will end up at Real Madrid," he said in an interview with Betfair.
"It seems likely that he stays in France for at least another year, but with such a crazy market I don't know what will happen the next day, so everything is possible until the window closes."
Should Neymar join Real Madrid he will lose plenty of support from Barca fans who adored him during his time with the club.
And Barca legend Ronaldinho hopes his fellow countryman does not join their arch rivals.
”Neymar is one of the best players in the world," he said.
"(But) I would be happier if he returned to Barcelona. Everything is possible in football.
"The important thing is that Neymar is happy (at PSG)."
Neymar won two La Liga titles and the Champions League with Barcelona between 2013 and 2017.
