Russia out of the 2018 FIFA world cup

With much hard work and seriousness put in place Russia the host of the 2018 FIFA world cup have been showing giant strides right from the group stage up till this moment.
After they crushed down Spain to qualify to the quarter finals, their moves have been without any doubt a very impressive one in a world cup where countries like Germany, Brazil, Spain, Argentina etc, found no place for settlement.
But as it may be, it seems those moves has just been put to end tonight in a penalty shoot outs between Croatia.
The first half kicked off and the 31st minutes saw Russia on the lead not just 8th minutes later when Croatia converted a cross to a goal on the 39th minute.
They went down to the end of the second half with the sane 1:1 from first half. Extra time was added to the play but this time Croatia was in the lead, when everyone thought it was over Russia made it again and brought a re-equalizer.
Since the game seems undecidable through play, the referee blew his whistle to signal for penalties. The penalty went down with Russia missing twice and the Croatians were on advantage of which they utilized very well, the game finally went down to a 3:4 win through penalties, and that saw Russia out of the 2018 FIFA world cup...
