According to Spanish outlet Sport, the Brazil star wants Suarez to replace his Uruguay international partner Edinson Cavani at the club.
The report says that Cavani’s days in Paris are numbered after the pair clashed last season and Neymar would rather the 31-year-old leave.
PSG are thought to be willing to sell the striker and Carlo Ancelotti’s Napoli are mentioned as a possible destination.
Neymar apparently wants to form a lethal forward threesome with former Liverpool star Suarez spearheading the attack alongside himself and Kylian Mbappe.
Real Madrid are said to be interested in signing 26-year-old Neymar, with Premier League giants Manchester United reportedly planning a move as well, but should Suarez arrive he is ready to affirm his commitment to PSG.
Suarez completed to the Nou Camp from Liverpool back in 2014 for a reported fee of £65m.
Since then he has won three La Liga titles, the Champions League and four consecutive Copa del Rey trophies.
The Uruguayan has scored 110 goals in 130 La Liga outings and 152 goals overall since making the move to Spain, a great return in a team so hugely influenced by five-time Balon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.
Cavani is PSG’s all-time record goalscorer with 170 goals but many believe that a fresh impetus is needed to really go out and challenge Europe’s elite.
Even though the club won all the domestic competitions on offer last season, winning the Champions League eluded them once more.
Neymar, Suarez and Cavani were all left disappointed this summer as both Brazil and Uruguay departed the World Cup at the quarter-final stage.
Uruguay were knocked out by France in a frustrating game where Cavani was unable to play due to injury.
Brazil, the favourites going into the competition, were eliminated by Belgium.
Neymar failed to shine in most games for Brazil and sadly may be remembered in years to come for his theatrics in Russia than for his football.
