Arsenal are finally set to get busy in the transfer window - and are confident of landing Dani Ceballos and William Saliba this week.
Ceballos is poised to join on a season-long loan move, while defender Saliba is set to join from St Etienne in a £28million deal.
Meanwhile, Manchester United turned down a £54million bid for Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan over the weekend, but another bid is expected early this week.
The approach does not get close to the £90m that United are ideally looking to recoup for the striker, who was left out of the pre-season friendly against the team trying to sign him on Saturday.
Elsewhere, Jurgen Klopp has been typically tight-lipped on the transfer front, although did admit he may look to strengthen one area - presumably his attack - before the window slams shut.
And remember Nabil Fekir? Well, he could finally be getting that move away from Lyon... although it is seeming more like Real Betis or Napoli than a Premier League switch.
