2021 GRAMMY:Davido blasted, as Wizkid and Burna-boy made it to Grammy

 

The list for the nominees of Grammy’s awards 2021 has been released and as usual, Nigerians were expecting their three top musicians Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy to be in the list.

However, only Wizkid and Burna Boy made it to this year’s list. Wizkid was nominated for the Best Video category of the year alongside Beyonce as the teamed up in the song titled, Brown Skin Girl of the Lion King album. 

Burna Boy, on the other hand, was nominated for Best Global Music Album of the year with his ‘Twice As Tall’ album. When he wins this category, he will become Nigeria’s first Grammy winner since Sikiru Adepoju won with Planet Drum over 10 years ago.
Social media users have begun mocking Davido for not being able to make it to the 2021 Grammy’s Awards nomination list.
If readers will recall, a few days ago, Davido mentioned in an interview that Wizkid and Burna Boy are ganging up against him in the music industry.
